Menjadi pimpinan di sebuah Lembaga Pemerintah seharusnya memberi contoh karena sebagai panutan bagi setiap warga. Berbeda yang terjadi di Kabupaten Merangin Jambi. Seorang oknum kepala Desa Inisial KA, memberikan contoh perilaku yang tidak baik bagi warganya. Pasalnya , oknum tersebut terlibat dalam usaha Ilegal yaitu melakukan usaha tambang emas ilegal (Dompeng Emas) yang sejatinya tidak seharusnya dilakukan.
Selain itu oknum Kepala desa telah melakukan tindakan pengancaman terhadap wartawan yang melakukan peliputan. Bahkan ia, dengan ancaman menantang awak media supaya secepat mungkin melakukan pemberitaan. Dan jika tidak ,ia sendiri yang akan mencari dan menemui kepada siapa saja yang berani mengusiknya.
Peristiwa tersebut terungkap dari keterangan beberapa warga Desa dan pemilik lokasi. Dari keterangan itu membenarkan adanya keterlibatan oknum kades terlibat dalam tambang ilegal tersebut.
Kepada wartawan, E selaku pemilik lokasi mengatakan oknum Kepala Desa Inisial KI diduga terlibat dalam usaha mengelolah tambang Emas ilegal. Kegiatan itu menurut E tak patut dilakukan oleh seorang pimpinan yang seharusnya memberi contoh baik bagi warga, melindungi dan menjaga kelestarian lingkungan Desa.”Masa iya Kepada Desa merusak Lingkungan,”ujar E Rabu, (13/12/203) menyayangkan atas tindakan oknum tersebut.
Kepala Desa Lubuk Napal Kecamatan Tabir Induk Kabupaten Merangin Jambi Inisial KA, Rabu, (13/12/2023), melalui hubungan telepon ketika dikonfirmasi membantah terlibat dalam kegiatan haram terebut. Bahkan ia menantang awak media supaya secepatnya melakukan pemberitaan.
Selain itu Oknum Kepala Desa juga menyampaikan kepada pihak yang mempersoalkan keterlibatannya dalam perkara itu untuk melakukan pembuktian. Jika tidak, maka ia tak kan segan melakukan perlawanan. Bahkan ketika ditanya terkait perkara itu ia malah mengancam awak media.
